“Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness.”
— Dr. Peter Levine

Observed Experiential Integration
Observed Experiential Integration (OEI) is a gentle and effective therapeutic technique used to process trauma, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. It works by engaging the brain’s natural capacity for healing through bilateral stimulation, often using specific eye movements and visual field work.
In our OEI sessions, I guide you through brief, focused processes that allow stuck memories or emotions to move toward resolution. OEI is especially helpful when traditional talk therapy feels too overwhelming or when trauma is stored more in the body than in words.
This approach can bring relief from symptoms such as anxiety, nightmares, emotional numbness, or intrusive thoughts. You remain fully in control throughout the process, and we always work at a pace that feels safe for you.
You don’t have to relive trauma to heal from it. OEI allows healing to unfold gently, layer by layer.
